Job Title: Fuel Lube Technician

Midwest Terminal is seeking a full time, Fuel and Lube Technician to work Monday thru Friday.  Job may require longer hours during peak months of business. Duties include, but are not limited to, installing tanks and pumps at various customer locations, repairing and replacing pumps, hoses and various parts pertaining to lubes and fuel pumping operations, working on piping and plumbing of systems, repair or replace valves and pumps on mobile equipment, performing calibrations on pumps, maintaining all company equipment to include cleaning of tanks, sandblasting and painting when needed, quoting and ordering parts needed for a variety of company and customer needs. A minimum of 2 years mechanical experience is preferred. Will be responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties within company policy and Department of Transportation regulations. This is a safety sensitive position.  Midwest Terminal is a drug free workplace and we have a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of fuel and lube pumping systems
• Understanding tools and how to properly use them in a safe manner
• Professional attitude dealing with fellow employees and all customers
• Knowledge on electrical for wiring fuel and lube systems
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years mechanical experience is preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Dependable and Punctual
• Electrical training is preferred, experience is required
• Hydraulic/fluid system experience is preferred
• Clean driving record
• Ability to perform tasks on a computer, Microsoft office proficient

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, kneel and crouch for extended periods while working under, inside and on top of tanks, trucks and other equipment.
• Must be able to pick up and carry 50 pounds in a safe manner.
